24/7 Access to the Hot Springs
Indulge your senses in 10 different natural hot spring pools, 3 ways to cold plunge and a dry sauna. The natural mineral water, never heated nor treated in any way, enhances rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. Indoor and outdoor soaking areas feature water temperatures ranging from 38 to 112 degrees, to soothe your body and bring tranquility to your mind.

2 Daily Yoga Classes
A perfect blend of activating hatha to prepare your body for adventure and yin to wind down and get the most restful sleep. All classes are curated for all levels of experience, beginners and advanced practitioners alike.

Daily Nature Excursions
Create unforgettable experiences enveloped in the striking beauty of the natural world around us. We'll offer a shuttle to and from the excursions, all of which are easy to moderate difficulty and suitable for all levels of experience.

Nourishing Meal Service

Uncompaghre Room

One of our most popular rooms due to its views of the grounds and the cozy feel of the tongue-and-groove woodwork, the Uncompahgre Room features a king bed with an oversized leather headboard made in Mexico, a matching vanity and sink, and a table with two chairs.
Mt. Sneffels Room

A longtime guest favorite, this large corner room has a sweeping view of the northern mountains of the Mt. Sneffels Wilderness, and features a king-size sleigh bed handmade by Lakota Living Furniture of Montrose plus a handmade vanity with a sink and a table with two chairs.

What's included in the retreat price?
The retreat price includes all accommodations, meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), snacks, yoga classes, workshops, guided activities, and access to the hot springs. Everything you need for a complete retreat experience is covered.
What's NOT included in the retreat price?
Airfare and travel expenses to Ouray are the responsibility of each participant. Transportation to and from the airport is also not included - you'll need to arrange your own transportation (Uber, Lyft, or rental car) to reach the retreat center.
Are all activities mandatory?
No, all activities are optional! We encourage you to listen to your body and participate at your own pace. You're welcome to skip any activity and use that time for personal reflection, rest, or exploration of the area.
Where is the retreat located?
Orvis Hot Springs is located in Ridgeway, Colorado. The closest airport is Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), which is approximately 45 minutes away.
Are the hot springs nude?
Yes! The hot springs are clothing optional. The retreat hosts will be clothed, but all guests are welcome to be nude.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
Yoga mats and props are provided at the retreat center, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. We have everything you need for a comfortable practice.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! We can accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when you book your retreat so we can prepare accordingly.

In addition to the 10 hot springs, what else does the grounds offer?

Cold Plunge
There is a cold plunge pool as well as 2 cold plunge showers. Theyre available for your use 24/7, great for early morning or post-activity recovery.

Dry Sauna
For when you want to experience the healing properties of heat but dont feel like taking a dip in the hot springs. It is located right next to the cold plunges!

Slient Meditation Area
The silent area is a great place to meditate or take a break from the hustle and bustle of the retreat. It is located amidst the hot springs and offers grass, garden plants, and ample shade as well as sun spots for tanning.
Enjoy unlimited coffee and tea from 8am - 8pm.
